I’ve never bought a salvage title vehicle that wasn’t repaired yet, but I’ve bought plenty of salvage title vehicles.

When I can buy a $10k car for a couple grand, why not?

It really doesn’t seem too daunting. Junkyard quarter panel, bumper cover, and headlight, door and hood should pull, maybe bumper rebar but probably not

For an Ohio Rebuilt title, I need to repair the damage to reasonably close to stock. So I need an bunper cover in one piece, a factory (junkyard ) headlight, and doors that are reasonably straight. I’m just gonna redo the busted panels with junkyard stuff. Shouldn’t be awful.

In this case, I’d be willing to bet it’s worse than it looks. The way the hood is bent tells me the structure behind the fender is bent as well. I wouldn’t tackle it personally.
